“Chasing The Shiny is a distinctive collection of memorable songs by Rick Strittmater and Leslie Lentz. There's a laid back vibe to the songs, and yet the arrangements are highly sophisticated. There is one instrumental number at the very end - Viajero - that floats away into a dreamscape that is absolutely transcendent. ”

— Charles "Charlie" Browning / Singer Songwriter 'Shake Me Awake'

“Rick is a true American song writer, a story teller in the highest sense. Listen as Strittmater / Lentz pluck these seven diamonds from the musical ether. You will not be disappointed.” - Sarah Marley Steele

— Publicist / CTMA Media Group

“What can one say? Initially the words astounding, remarkable, unique and simply magnificent come to mind. Then as I listened further to the album all of those were confirmed and reconfirmed song by song. Rick is a master with his words and how he uses them to paint a picture in the listeners mind. His guitar work is immaculate and definitive. Rick and Les are two of the most talented artists I have had the pleasure to know and work with. Thank you both for sharing your love and talent with us all.”

— Chris Sacks / The Chris Sacks Band 'Big Love'
